I can't possibly be the first person in the history of Microsoft Outlook to encounter this issue. You might see a status icon such as a lightning bolt or a warning icon next to your account's inbox in the Mail sidebar, or in the upper-right corner of the Mail window. SO THERE MUST BE SOME WAY TO TURN OFF THE CONSTANT LOG-ON REQUESTS FROM THIS OUTLOOK ACCOUNT WITHOUT CREATING A SEPARATE PROFILE!!!

All I had to do was archive the accounts to "My Mac" - my local machine. Now go to the Offline tab and enable offline access to mail by. Had unified access to old email/calendar accounts on Apple Mail and Calendar going back to 2001. Opt for E-mail Account and fill the details like Name, E-mail Address, and Password. This seems unwieldy at best - I frequently need to be able to search across all three accounts. They suggested that I export this account to a newly created Outlook Profile, which I would have to log into to see the relevant calendar and email items.

MS Tech Support tells me it's not possible to run just one Outlook account in offline mode while others are online, and indeed I only see a macro option in the Outlook menu to run in offline mode. I've archived the emails for this account but the account stillĪsks me for a logon every time I start up Outlook (and occasionally at other times). One of the accounts is from a past company where I no longer have access to the Exchange server. I use Outlook 365 on a Mac (all latest versions) for three business email/calendar accounts.
